Accessibility
Last updated: June 2026
The Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection (MWCSP) is committed to making this Social Protection portal usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and those using assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to keep improving the portal as part of our duty to serve all members of the public with compassion.
Accessibility features
- A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and computers.
- Pages that can be navigated using a keyboard alone.
- Clear headings, labelled form fields and helpful error messages.
- Readable text with colour contrast intended to meet AA guidance.
- A light and dark display mode you can switch between.
Accessibility toolbar
This site includes an assistive toolbar that lets you adjust text size, contrast, spacing and more. Look for the accessibility icon on the screen and select it to open the toolbar.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible – for example, certain uploaded documents (such as scanned PDFs) or older content may not work perfectly with every assistive technology. We are working to address these issues.
