Good to know
A few things worth checking before you apply.
The person who needs support should be the applicant. A family member or caregiver can help complete the application on their behalf if needed.
In some cases:
- A caregiver may apply for a child (for the Care & Protection Allowance).
- A household member may apply on behalf of the family (for the Family Assistance Allowance).
The system will guide you based on your situation.
Complete one application per person or household — yourself, your household, someone you care for, or someone you are a third party for. To apply for more than one person or household, submit a separate application for each.
- Please make sure all required fields are completed and documents are uploaded before submitting your application.
- All information provided by the applicant and any third party must be true and correct.
- We may check your information with other relevant organisations.
- Providing false information is an offence under the False Information Act 2016.
We will use the information you provide to process your application for social welfare support. We may check your information with other relevant organisations to confirm your details. Your information will be handled securely and in line with Fiji's privacy standards.
